Relax, replenish your energy, reduce stress, sleep better, release tension, relieve pain - Shiatsu can provide you with wonderful support. It also helps in periods of change when you need to find new paths and solutions. Shiatsu brings movement to your body and mind, activating your resources and your inner wisdom. One of my specialties is also supporting people to heal trauma through the method of Shiatsu.
Shiatsu is a gentle, holistic body therapy with roots in traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Japanese massage (Anma). Gentle pressure, twists and stretches along the energy pathways (meridians) and osteopathic techniques are used to stimulate the Qi - our life energy - and bring it into balance. This balance allows us to be in flow and feel more harmonious with the outside world and within ourselves.

If you want to feel more physically, mentally and emotionally balanced, yoga is a reliable and proven method. The ancient Indian practice combines physical exercises (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation, offering a holistic approach to health and fulfillment. Experience how the interplay of tension and relaxation, strength and flexibility, action and stillness can bring peace to your body, heart and mind.
Yoga is suitable for every body type and every age group. I place an emphasis on teaching yoga in an accessible way, without pressure or social expectations of what a body should be able to do. The exercises are therefore adapted to your individual needs. We integrate breathing techniques in such a way that they can help you in your daily life, and we make sure to respect your inner wisdom - which shows you your limits and invites you to discover new things.
Treat yourself to private lessons in my practice in Burgdorf. If you prefer to take part in a group, I look forward to welcoming you to Yoga Heimiswil (Mondays 8:00-9:00, Wednesdays 19:30-21:00).

I am passionate about individual and social health. I am convinced that a conscious approach to body and mind is a key to inner balance and positive change, within ourselves and in the world.
It means a lot to me to accompany people on their journey and support them in rediscovering their innate strength, dignity and health. All people are welcome in my practice - regardless of origin, life path or background.
I was born in the USA and have lived in Switzerland since 2008. I am married and the mother of two children (born in 2011 and 2013).

Arrival with car The Bucherareal offers two parking spaces for visitors. If these are occupied, one can park in the lot across the street from the traffic circle.
